Roman, seasonality, quality

We avoid banality, yet every dish is authentically roman.

The kitchen’s captain is Chef Giuseppe d’Alessio, and he combines selected ingredients and his love for the Italian tradition with constant innovation. Every dish has it’s own story from the traditional recipes and is proposed in Settimo with high-quality ingredients and special attention to details.

The proposed dishes are always based on seasonal ingredients, which come from the right place, form where those ingredients are actually supposed to come.

Our menu is never done – we find inspiration all around, in new ingredients, new approaches. We stay truth though to what distinguishes us from the others: respecting the authenticity.

Our passion can be synthesized in a cuisine elegantly simple, and we identify “luxe” with the choice of the best raw materials and the search for the outmost authenticity. The different styles of the roman traditional cuisine are always represented in the menu, from the cucina povera to the cucina tripolina to the Jewish one.
